Collectando Auctions
Collectando Auctions is a project born from an interest in collecting, particularly fountain pens. Its aim is to bring fountain pens and other small collectible items from private collections and/or accumulations back into the market, creating a virtuous cycle of recovery and enhancement.
Our fountain pen auctions are curated by Letizia Iacopini, who has been entrusted with the task of selecting and evaluating the lots offered in each auction.
The project also anticipates expanding its activities to include other collectible items whenever the opportunity arises, with the support of experts in specific fields.
Letizia Iacopini
Active in the world of fountain pens since 1990, Letizia Iacopini has played an essential role in the development of collecting in Italy during the 1990s and 2000s. She was dedicated to managing the first association of Italian fountain pen collectors, organising exhibitions and conventions, informational and educational workshops on the history of fountain pens, collaborating with specialised magazines, writing books and offering consultancy services and support to collectors all over the world.rs worldwide.
Her books remain an fundamental reference point for all enthusiasts and collectors of Italian vintage fountain pens.
In the 2000s, she focused her activities on managing her website Tenpen and its blog, which is primarily dedicated to the history of Italian fountain pens. In recent years, she has started her own production of quality fountain pens under the brand Anima Vintage. She collaborates with various manufacturing companies, including Leonardo Officina Italiana and Magna Charta.
Since 2022, she has been working as a Pen Expert for the online auction platform Catawiki.
